I purchased DE 1 seperately because I wasnāt able to get the bundle (or so Steam was indicating - due to being an AOE 2 DE beta tester). Will I be able to get the bundle discount as well, or will I have to pay full price for both? Iām not actually able to add the bundle to my cart as I supposedly already own both (the add to cart button is just greyed out completely)
To clarify: I paid 22 AUD for AOE DE 1 (standalone price) when the bundle is 34 AUD (thinking that I was unable to purchase the bundle as per the message about already owning it) - adding AOE 2 DE to my cart after the fact, it is still 22 AUD also (bringing the total to 44 when I could have saved 10 AUD if the bundle purchase was working correctly at launch) 
Please advise. Would be nice to not have to go thru the Steam refund process just so I can buy the bundle at the right price.

I, following your valuable help, have been able to pre-purchase AOE II DE, at ā¬ 14.99, because I bought Steam years ago, AOE II HD (2013).

Both says that I already owns Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, also the bundle give the discount price due āalready havingā Age 2: DE

Pre order is not beta access, at least right now it isnāt. Who knows, maybe later.

Is there any way to buy AoE2 (2013)+AoE2: DE bundle in S.Korea? Because of AoE2 (2013)'s region lock, I canāt buy that bundle.

Something new? I want to buy it now, here in Argentina prices go up for the ā ā ā ā economy of the country and I donāt want to buy AOE 2 DE at 80 dollars.

To be honest, I got rather annoyed buying the AOE1DE then realizing it did not let me participate on the bundle discount. Not being able to pre-order is only the second upset. I would very much appreciate to be provided the same discount as beta tester as the random bundle orders allow. Thank you in advance.

I agree fully on that one as for me as owner of AOE II HD @ Steam and owner of AOE DE @ MS Store there wouldnāt be any reason except for different achievements score below Xbox user profile to buy AOE games from MS Store anymore. They could (and should) grant owners of AOE DE @ MS Store the same discount to overcome this problem.

What happened with this? I was one of those in front of the hype train, begging for a beta key until I got picked, loved every second I played even with all the many flaws the game has in this stage of development. And now this happens? I fear for this game if this is the best you devs can do when facing an issue as critical as this. Think about it: the core of the community doesnāt have access to the game. Who do you think will keep the game alive in the years to come? the ones that never owned 2HD or never cared about the beta? Or the ones left aside by this gruesome mistake? Did you really not know that launching a beta with the same ID of the game will cause this problem with the Steam shop? Iām begining to think you are forcing our hands to buy it on the Microsoft Store and renounce Steam. I was hoping great things for this game. Now my only hope is that you are capable of launching it in a ok-ish state by launch date.
Donāt be so overdramatic. Pre-order right now doesnāt give u the access to the game anyway. I have to admit, the problem with pre-ordering for beta testers is quite ridiculous, me myself would really love to buy it right now along with AoE DE but it does not stop you from further beta testing.
