No I’m not south american, I live here. I’d expect if the english had conquered latin american it would be in a far better state than the corrupt, poverty stricken mess it is now.
The spanish way of doing things was to strip the wealth from each country they conquered, not build a stable economy, the british encouraged trade between all it’s colonies and britain itself. Just look at the countries now, the colonial legacy of the spanish has left them in disaster, show me an ex spanish colony that’s doing well and compare it to the usa,canada, australia.

That Spain did not have the same concept of “colony” as England.

Well let’s stop this debate then, I’m sure I as well as others get annoyed when every post mentioning spain is talking about the black legend and how the developers are against spain. Before the PUP was announced just loook through the posts about spain rework and units, hell even this ridiculous post claiming discrimination because a few spanish units profile pics are missing from the original game.

Correct, here we are saying that the icons of Spain are missing and this person always has to comment something against. It is not the first time that he comments against me.

My guess is they removed them because they “don’t want to glorify American colonization”, lol. Because the Spanish kinda destroyed south america at battle 
I think it has nothing to do with catholicism, and just a coincidence. Many other countries were catholic not just spain.
