Silesia - a map that is cut in half by the river (Oder). The left side of the map has numerous silver mines while the right side of the map has numerous coal mines (reference to Lower and Upper Silesia).
Dubrovnik - an area surrounded on one side by the blue sea with small islands and on the other side by rocky mountains.
Norway - Fjords map
Lapland - map with frozen lakes and lush coniferous forest.
Provence - map with famous lavender bushes.
Burgundy - map with hills and grape bushes.
Catalonia - beach map with scattered Cows.
Sicily - a triangular beach island.
Lazio (or Rome) - a map with a Basilica surrounded by fortifications in the center - the players can take it.
Naples - U-shaped map.
Bavaria & Austria - mountainous map with many flowery meadows.
Brandenburg - a wooded map with a river and two lakes with large islands.
Galicia (south-eastern Poland and western Ukraine) - a map with hills and an oil deposit (generate Coins) - a reference to the fact that the world’s first oil wells were built in this area.

Well, multiple European maps are named after single cities (like Budapest and Muscovy, though technically Budapest is a merger of three cities which weren’t unified yet at this time).
There’s also a Galicia in Iberia, which could maybe be represented. We could just call it Galiza instead to differentiate it from the Polish region tho.
At least we all know we need Siam and Iran, the only blanks in the Southeast Asia and West Asia.
Siberia can be divided into at least three parts: west, middle and east, and even the Chukchi Peninsula (or named Bering Sea), Lake Baikal, Altai Mountains, and Mountains of Heaven (with some parts from current Mongolia).
