There are a lot of people annoyed not only about the new dub voices but also because back on summer the game was announce with Spanish from Spain voices just like the original and the previous Definitive Edition and they deleted it without any explanation.
Latinamerica is bigger in number of people but in sales Spain beats them, so is not as a big market as you think

Ahora hay que ver si el doblaje que implementaran es el mismo del Age of Empires II original, o será con nuevos actores, por supuesto, españoles. Pero que de alguna forma u otra, hayan escuchado a la comunidad, me parece suficiente y también excelente por parte de Microsoft. Un saludo soldados!

Congratulations to all spanish costumers. Nice to see developers has heard the spanish community.
It seems our effort has had the reward. Now, i can buy the game, which I had been waiting for a long time. This is the game which I have played for more hours, so I’m very happy with this news.

¡Ya tenemos la campaña de El Cid con el doblaje de español de España! 
Efectivamente ya está la campaña del Cid en español españa. El cambio es muy de agradecer.
Como aviso a las personas que lo juegan en español de España. Tras instalar el parche se me seguia escuchando en español latino, y la solución ha sido cambiar el idioma desde fuera del juego, concretamente desde las propiedades del juego en la biblioteca de steam, que seguía marcado español latinoamerica. Al cambiarlo desde allí se solucionó la cuestión del idioma.
