In my opinion they need to give +1 ban to 4v4s, and +2 for 3v3s… then increase the pre-launch to 2:00 minutes. Allow players to agree on pocket/flank or make it random instead of this stupid pocket pu$$y picking in the first 2 seconds, then your teammates have to adapt to what you want to do. I would like to play Goths as pocket in a 4v4 BF but don’t want to be the ■■■■ that chooses green or yellow right off the bat. Because those are the type of people who will wall you out and not give 2 Fs if you get destroyed because they need to boom in peace before resigning.

WHY IS PICKING POCKET A THING??! you know that great for tournaments or what have you, but in general too many people will abuse the flaws in this game which is what allows Alt-F4 to be so common. The people alt-f4ing arent the problem, its this devs who don’t fix the problems.

If the people of your elo do not alt f4 what is your problem, you should try to work and study, and see if you have time and desire to learn starts of maps that you do not like and that change every two weeks. It is simple you cannot play a tg with 1 ban alone, because the maps are bad and many.
do not use the players of other maps to play the ones you like, if you have to wait 20 minutes to play an Amazon tunnel for example, wait for them and do not force anyone to play what they do not want.

if it is 10 minutes is pretty valid. it happens a lot in starcraft with cannon rushes and 12 pool. And people still have to train the micro.

A 7 map pool and 3+ map bans is the way to go, but before that the punishment for dodgers must be executed.

Player mistake. Find a team, it’ll improve your TG experience significantly.

10+ years ago starcraft give 3 ban maps in teamgames.

this is not the devs trying ot make the players go to TG in premades, this is either laziness or negligency.

ok let me just clearly state that the current system is flawed but in ways people might oversee

an elo inflation that makes people mad and unhappy who they play with and even Alt F4

and Map Pool that has too much of the same maps and which is not suited for people who only play 1 map which is absurd anyway since all maps should be played and the game shouldt rely on only 1 map

in conclusion the problem is a widely diversified system that some people cant just get over since they dont wanna accept the terms of ranked and grief the games and/ or their teammates in Tgs

And Alt f4 should clearly be punished as it is an inherint toxic behaviour and shouldt be condoned

edit: i dont think they should give unlimited bans but someone said +1 ban for 4v4 and maybe +1 for 3v3 should be an reasonable start to come to an agreement if possible

Nah, I always play pre-made team, but tried queuing up solo into team games. The experience was pretty much garbage, I don’t recommend it for anyone.

Back then the ladder was organized in a 3rd party software. Here there is an ingame ladder system with huge flaws.

A simple check of the current game/ui state in there whether there is a found match and if yes, prompt the user that he’ll be punished with loss of elo if he chooses to proceed to close the game. Crashes will not be affected because in the case of a crash, the application should never even receive that closing message, so no elo loss in that case.

No. Just open task manager and end task. Worse case, end game from memory (wont write how so ppl dont abuse it) There is almost no way to recognize a crash vs a force close. Just disable adapter in network stack and there goes the game. …
