All you have to do is micro a bit, and have you considered changing formation? [Just as musk are more effective vs cav in melee]

At that stage of game when Mexico sent 5 cards and reached age 4 with upgrated Charros [Ask yourself why you let it get to this stage in the first place], it is expected that you at least upgrated Dragoons [Guard + caracole] and also send some HC/TP cards for cav.

And don’t expect 10 dragoon can kill 30 charros, at least you have to have the equivalent of those resources in counter units!

I have already said it many times, this issue is a problem with the players’ skill more than a problem with the unit itself.This is reflected in Mexico win-rate being under 50% in general.

That depends on the porpuse of the unit, the best hand cav vs other cav I think is Tashunke, Cheyenne Rider, ESO Rider.
It is curious that this video does not include a fight of Charros vs Dragoon

Hell no, the spahi is too cheap to order and the Azap in it’s current “i am a bowman AND Pikeman for dirtcheap” should’ve never been added.

The Azap needs to have his ranged attack nerfed in Age II, with a base range of 12. He could also start with melee armor instead of projectile (as it was originally), then change armor at the first upgrade. It is not that it is a very strong unit, but the key is in quantity.

As for the spahi, it doesn’t seem to me to be very strong by default. A good mass of heavy inf can stop them.

Bro, where do I want to go with all this discussion about civilizations that suffer too much from killing ‘‘CHINACO’’ Inca, China and Aztecs. Or do you think everyone only plays with civi that have EURO dragons?! My post is also more focused on 2v2 3v3 team games because in most games it lasts more than 20 to 30 minutes, another thing to note is that Mexico does not need to be at age 4 or 5 for the CHINACOS to be OP, just upgrade to veteran to get 10 % life of the arsenal and the card CABALEEROS which they already do a lot of damage to the civilizations mentioned above,I strongly recommend that you try to test the possible Chinese anti-cavalry vs CHINACOS

It is not a matter of skill, I have seen outstanding players lose to others of a lower level just because of the civilization. The Chinaco unit counters almost all infantry, heavy cavalry, and artillery. Saying that it is a matter of skill is too obtuse; otherwise, there would not be many comments or posts complaining about that unit.

In my experience China keshik+pike is pretty good vs charros. Aztec ERK is a very hard counter to charros. Maybe Inca can struggle a bit but mass bolas is very good, and use plumed spears as meatshield

Not everything is 1v1. Every lobby has the same 4 civs

This is 1v1 stats, México winrate in all ranks is in 50% & below. Win rate gets lower in top ranks

The post is aimed at team games because most of the time team games are long

I don’t see why 1v1 stats are not applicable, at the end of the day 3v3-4v4 games are 1v1+1v1+1v1+1v1. In both cases Mexico is in disadvantage according to stats.
