Personal union means that Croatia was still a separate state (a kingdom!), But was ruled by the rulers of Hungary. A somewhat similar situation as with the Polish-Lithuanian Union.

Its a really interesting thing for sure, but thats just 200 years of importance.
Eh, not really sure you can say that. Their importance was shortlived from what I heard
I dont really want Iniuts either tbh.
Dubrovnik Republic had 30000 inhabitants total. the same as an Indian or Chinese village
Transylvania was 95% Hungarian, 5% Saxon
Wallachia was populated by Slavs as well
Moldavia by Cumans and they weren’t minority.
Leslie of Hungary conquered Croatia. It is stated in Hungarian Wikipedia and History textbooks.
Inuit could be a bonus civ as a Christmas gift.
bulgarians evolved AFTER medievil, before was BULGARS turkic tribe w/ tiny slav influnce
Thats not true. Im not talking about Volga Bulgaria, im talking about the later Bulgarian empires
no i talk about buglaria in balkans too
In that case you are wrong, sorry. Bulgars disapeared soon as teh main cultural force
soon the name disappeard but turkic tribe was dominant all medievil time
look urself the bulgar king names, all turkish names
How does that get over all the reasons I mentioned for not adding them?
Unless you meant for AOE3, in which case, sure, although their culture doesn’t really have anything to do with Christmas so there’s no need to make it about that.
That doesnt make them any less Slavs. If the culture of the kingdom was Slavic, its an Slavic kingdom. And Vladislav is an Slavic name isnt it? Cos thats the name of the last Bulgarian king of the first Bulgarian empire
450 years
pls no more inuit and native tribes its awkward every tiem we have new civs with fake castle
not suites for aoe2
Not really imo. Thats like saying that Byzantines were important for the whole middle ages (they were for most of it but they were really a minor power at the late middle ages).
Thats not really anything. 150 years of independence of an small territory isnt enough
I still think Beninese are more worth adding than bpth of them
In AoE 3, the Inuit would only fit the Minor Nation - there are better candidates for the playable North American native civ.
I meant the AoE 2 DLC that could be obtained during the event (similar to the USA DLC in AoE 3). It could be a fun and specific civ, just right for the winter period.
Polynesians would suit summer.
no disreepect but thisisnt fortnite with new skins for summer winter autumn
A better option would be a Yoruba civ than Beninese.
Ghana Empire and Songhai Empire overlap with the Mali Empire.
Beninese started earlier and either way we cna use it to represent all the civs from Benin to southern Yoruba. They have some similarities in religion for example like a common origin myth and the same sacred city
They had several sucessful fights against the Vikings.
I would put priority first on the North American civs which had impressive cities and extensive agriculture first though.
