Looks like we’ve got a tie for the map concepts - maybe leave the vote open for another week or so before determining the winner?

For me, they are all winners. Great ideas.
I think it shouldn’t be a contest, just a forum where map concepts are shown.

I would give it the chance. This season has definitely more voters than the previous one. But I see some people (including me) don’t want the contest to be Age of Pirates catches all (not because of the map but because of the cool stuff like exploding volcanos, submarines and armored trains). We go crazy not because we want to win, but because we want to motivate the others to go crazy too and move the borders of possible, So there are two options what can be done:
1/ Join our team and create volcanic underwater map with armored train viaduct or whatever mad concept you have
2/ Instead of Map Concepts I’d add a category for vanilla compatible maps, because modded stuff could obviously have some advantages. Then I believe no-one can complain the contest is not fair. 
3/ Get not just more voters but also more new maps. From Age of Pirates I know at least about two wonderful maps which are not listed like @dansil92 New Guinea or @vividlyplain Unknown - Age of Pirates version. Shame that these are not part of the contest, because both maps are really original and fun to play.
