What would you like to see in Myth Retold?

I think the devs need to add damage multiplier information to the Compendium. Without it we can’t easily tell the true damage a unit does.

Raising the housing limit with each new TC constructed would be nice. It seems a bit weird to me that you’re likely to reach the housing limit before you claim all the Settlements on the map.

I can get used to seeing the resources on the right, but I won’t tolerate the hotkeys.

Understandable if you’re coming from AoE 4. As I’m used to AoE 2 and 3, I don’t see myself in a moment where I want to use (x2) keys as my setup works without it ^^

They are also for the errors that I have reported

I just bought the Xbox version. I’d like to see a creative mode / sandbox and customizable campaigns where we could select things like the number of enemy factions, frequency of attacks, etc.

Can we get rank divisions and borders? Like:

Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Diamond
Masters
Grand Masters

I think this would give people more of an incentive to play ranked, making queues faster.

Speaking of faster queues, even in peak number of players the game still takes at least a minute to find a game. It’s a little frustrating, specially for people that come from SC2.

The ability to look at the tech trees or social features, (or do aything) during queue time would be amazing as well.

I’d really like it if each non-Greek civ could get their own unique Regent model. Kind of surprised that was missed, given that the citadels were reworked for each civ.

I think the Greeks should get a new model too and this one should be used for Misenus so he can finally be in the game.

I would like to see the difficulty levels rework/expansion for the campaign:
(thread) Suggestion - rework the difficulty system for the campaign missions to include Extreme and Legendary, and include both the legacy AI and the new AI for various difficulty levels

I like the feature where you can define the viewing direction of your troops by keeping the right mouse button pressed. I would love to see that implemented. AoE4 has it and I really like it. It might be a small thing, but I consider it quite useful, because by letting them face the direction where you expect the enemy, you can easily prevent enemies from attacking your ranged units first when they are attacked while you are not focusing on your troops at the moment.

Quick match 4v4 / 5v5 and 6v6. An Elo rating even for the unranked ones. Ability to see an opponent’s rating in an unranked match (at least so I know if they are at my level)

Minimap, ressources, idle villagers, global queue all in bot left corner would be amazing!

Also new preset hotkey layout which plays arround attackmove being on button “a” instead of space.

While not mythically accurate, either that or a Giant Robot are too iconic not to add.

Yes, probably the new DLCs will bring new cheats for the game…

Please make the battle notification sound toggleable, it can get very annoying, especially late game.

I would love to see the Chinese, maybe Aztec/Mayan, Celtic, Japanese expansions, then add mini expansion for the Greek with Dementer, with ARACHNE as a myth unit among them, also Furies, Charybdis as a god power, the awesome dragons from Greek Mythology that spawn undead from their teeth (from the golden fleece) they are called Kholkikos, Harpies could also work as myth units, but please, this game needs spiders and Arachne as a myth unit. Cerberus or Orthrus the two headed dog are also options, also Minyades (bats), or the Teumessian Fox, which could be very good at evading damage, but with little damage.

Atlanteans could use myth units like Antaeus the earth giant who regenerates on earth, Ladon the dragon that guards the apples, and Hesperids the Sun Nymphs.

For the chinese I wish they would rename the white tiger into Byakko and made him look less like a true white tiger and more like a mythological creature, but I’m sure the Chinese will be re-worked, also Taotie need to be there as chinese icon for gluttony, and the azure dragon needs to breath lightning, not fire like 10.000 other units already do. The dragon turtle is too much like the other turtle and needs to change.

With how almost universally hated the Tale of the Dragon DLC is, microsoft will have to make it abundantly clear that they did major changes to the Chinese, if they want to sell even a single copy to those that didn’t preorder the DLC blind already.
I expect (hope) that the things that end up being the same or similar between the Tale of the Dragon and the coming Chinese DLC are because they’re true to the actual, real life Chinese.
For example things like pagode roofs, pandas and bamboo.

COOP Matchmaking PLEASE! The Serverbrowser is a pain. And it should be easy, its normal Matchmaking but one team is bots. Age 4 has this feature also.
