Results of favorite civs polls do not reflect hated civ for obvious reasons. Civs that comes at the end of such polls do not automatically mean they are the worst. They might just be value neutral. Neither hated, nor favorite. Also least favourite and hated civs mean different things if you know what I mean. Slavs is my least favourite (because of them being worse version of Bulgarians) but not my hated civ. I wouldnāt remove them.
Kinda dishonest to not put a ānoneā option but I wouldnāt expect anything less from people who have problems with having more options rather than lessā¦ The lack of imagination and openness of this fanbase is asphyxiating but again canāt expect nothing more from a game that deals with wars, most alluring to control freaks and rigid mentalities.
But those are not the people that kick the game further or that kick anything creative in generalā¦
The game is not thriving or growing anymore, in fact too many civs is a big deal for newcomers, learning all the stuff necessary is just too overwhelming, honestly this devs in charge ruined our beloved and classic game to earn few dollars.
More civs didnāt make the game any better, current balance is disgusting but there is a huge make up on big events, the drafting and banning system prevents the players to over abuse broken civs cause naturally everyone would pick the strongest 3 civs just like in aoc.
I am no longer active on this game and i was active since 2006 on multiplayer, even if the game has superior quality over voobly in terms of playability cause input delay, but other than that it is way worse, no social interactions, forced maps, forced pick civs, unfair games and teams, punitive system and the map design is bad cause the devs also changed the original maps.
In other words this game is no longer the classic one, wake me up when the remake launches with only 25 civs or so.
