Hi afgenovese, I am unsure what you are experiencing. I would recommend restarting the scenario and trying again. What should happen is when Xuanzang reaches the house, Guanyin should appear and, after a brief conversation, Monkey turns to your control. Once you select him, he talks about the way ahead.

Hi GambeJacob, to follow up on the response to afgenovese above, after Monkey is selected, he speaks to Xuanzang and shapeshifts. Then, you’re able to target the fences. Please let me know if it still doesn’t work for you. Just in case something went wrong, I recommend restarting the scenario.

Guys, I figured out the issue with Monkey in A Journey to the West. The latest patch to the game changed the unit’s behavior so I had to update the scenario.

Do you know if there is an easy way to edit all the texts in a scenario? I want to translate all your campaigns to other languages and the only way I currently know is to work through all the triggers to find the texts, which is very time-consuming.

Your work is awesome by the way, keep it up!

No, there isn’t an easy way. I do label all my text triggers with the prefix [D] for dialogues, [N] for renames, and [Obj] for objectives so it is possible, but still time consuming, to find the texts.

It appears, that something has gone wrong with upload of that mod, because it appears with red exclamation mark in installed mods list. Its structure on drive appears to be too much nested - “mods\subscribed\1311_A Journey to the West\Journey to the West”.

Tried this campaign twice now the very limited villagers isnt helping i must be missing something and when the migration starts ■■■■ thats alot of attacking forces few hints might aid me as i thought would be able to build a base at some point

Also, do these custom campaigns have audio? I see the in-game dialog but no voice like the tradiotional AGE 2:DE campaigns. All in all, very appreciative of these additions! Thanks @PhillySouljah :slight_smile:

I was enjoying the Seljuk campaign at first, until the sudden timer appeared. I dislike timers in general, but I found this one especially frustrating because I had no idea it was coming. Suddenly I had 10 minutes game time to conquer the Oghuz, not nearly enough to find their remaining camps and wipe them out with the forces I could muster. With no way of knowing where they were, and one of them (I later discovered) across the river, it was bad enough, but then I discovered that the earlier instruction that destroying a large yurt would conquer an Oghuz tribe was outright incorrect, rendering the objective impossible in the time remaining.

Personally I think I would prefer it if there was a specific objective which ended the current era instead of a timer, but if it’s going to be a timer, I think it shouldn’t be dropped on the player with no warning. Until that point I was taking my time and gathering my forces, and now suddenly I had no time left to complete my remaining objective. This level could be greatly improved by at least adding to the hints section something specific about how much time you have to complete each objective, replacing the timer with an “end of age” objective, or showing the timer from the start so it doesn’t come out of absolutely nowhere.

Hi, @minya4ni , I’m not sure if you use hawkaoe.net, but I noticed that someone there (possibly you?) already did Chinese language translations for Three Kingdoms and A Journey to the West.

Ok, I don’t know if you will have time (or will feel like it) but since there is nor official campaign/scenario where the player is playing as Lithuanians and neither is there any scenario where the player is of the grey colour, why not fill both these holes and create a campaign where you would be a grey Lithuanian?
