I still think it’s a terrible idea to lock the achievements and make people wait 24hrs to unlock the next one after completing one.

It gives you no control over which ones you actually want, and worse if you don’t have time early in the event to complete these, you can just get locked out of content (5 achievements to do and only 4 days left etc).

Please, stop locking stuff other than profile images behind timed events

I’ve been playing AoE2 for over 15 years, my first game was when I was 7 and a cousin showed it to me. Am ok with the profile images being locked behind event tasks. But it really makes me sad that you are now locking things like cheat codes and mods behind time-gates. The tasks may be easy to do, but some of us may not have the free time to do them, if you still want to lock them behind tasks, do NOT put a time-gate on it. The other thing I don’t like is that you have a maximum amount you can unlock per day. I understand they obviously want you to play the game on multiple days during the event, which is probably at worst just a shallow boost to the number of players during the event and at best maybe a big boost to the multiplayer (even though you can usually unlock these things in single player).
