Hi guys, I thought it would be a good idea to make a pretty scenario design competition, rather than just posting screenshots randomly. It could be themed and run for a few weeks. Maybe you could vote to reflect your views on whether this would be a good idea? Will keep this poll up for one week until 13 August 2020

Are there any forum moderators around? Would it be possible to put a [POLL] next to the thread title to get more attention and people to vote in the poll? I can’t seem to edit it.

I can kickstart it once the poll ends. I could suggest a theme and people could submit screenshots.

I was thinking a community poll would be better. How I suggest this could work would be as follows:

A topic/theme is suggested (I can start the first theme). A deadline is set (a week maybe). And people enter the competition by submitting entries in this thread.

Once deadline reached, submission of entries closes. I can create a poll with the various entries submitted listed as poll options and AOE Forum community can vote. The poll can be open for another week (or maybe five days).

After a week, the highest polled entry wins. In the event of a tie, the one who provided the topic of the round can cast a tie breaker vote.

The next topic could be suggested by the winner. And so on it goes.
I would also suggest that we allow modded graphics to be included in the competition as they are part and parcel of the various AOE2DE competitions, and the screenshots should be original and created by the submitter only.

There are several placement modes in the editor. You can switch the mode by using CTRL+g.

Oh, that will still take a while…
But there are 2 other campaigns done… Just need to find some time in order to publish them
What are the other two themes ,hope to know.

Will it be one on Kubilai Khan? He’s a character who seldom makes it into any campaigns :’(
Kublai Khan is a very interesting figure. I could imagine to do a campaign for him too someday.
He’s doing well and is productive as always
is it possible to include some new unit graphical skins for the heroes? a lot of the heroes are the same (master of templer, frankish paladin, william the conqueror to name a few).
imo it’ll make the campaign much more unique and memorable
