Battle Elephants for the Indians

ok sure taht or really cheap and produce faster so like they are bad but you get 3 for the cost of one becous turks had a big but no well equiped army
i just really whant unique to be unique

It already is. Elite Jans are already better than HCs, the issue is that even though they are, there is no reason to upgrade them to taht level, when you already get Chemistry for free, and can spam HCs much easier from Archery ranges.

1 vs 1, however, the Elite jan is better than the HC. Better than every HC, actually.

You donā€™t balance around low skill players. And its already been explained to you. The Indians are already posting >50% winrates without elephants. If you add them in those winrates will obviously improve. Sorry you donā€™t like math.

Now since your so dead set on others proving themselves why donā€™t you do so yourself? You said the majority of players are in favor of an Indians rework. Prove it

Jans are better against Siege than HCs are, by a lot.

HCs are better against Halbs, however, since Jans do not have bonus damage against Infantry that HCs do.

HCs are good against Infantry, but nothing else.
Elite Jans are good against everything, but worse against Infantry than HCs.

Yeah so they dont do anyting different have same counters and are good against same stuff. Yeas numbers are different but not the feeling is the same

On the contray, HCs are only good against Infantry.

Jans are better than HCs against EVERYTHING but Infantry.

This only proves the forum community has a following in it. Prove to me the majority of aoe2 players support this. The forums makes up a small fraction of age 2 players

Neither you neither me can prove whether majority people are against change or with change(until there is a poll that can include all players, which is not possible). There are some threads with a poll as well. You may check them if you like. But we both can agree that there have been a large amount of discontent on the civ design that is evident from all these threads started by variety of people across the board.

Yeah better 1+1=2 i get that but they provied nothing different that you can notice. A lot UU are similar but provied something really different to normal unit archer vs plums, longbow, genoes xbow, ratanā€¦

No one plays a game to watch it on Youtube. If they are doing that they must be insane. Youtube videos are meant to complement your gaming and give you tips.

A large amount of the mass minority of the forum community. Like seriously less then 5% of the age 2 community comes to these forums. And we donā€™t even know if the majority of them support this change. Yeah those who provide feedback on it are vocal.

So are we going to start changing the entire game to make less then 5% of the population? Without considering the impact that has on the rest of the people out there?

But you do notice it, specially at higher level play.

You are also only looking at it from an Imperial Age perspective, when both units are available; but Jans can be made in the Castle Age, when they are one of the strongest UUs by far, and do something no other Castle Age unit does, a Castle Age HC.

You just rewrote what I said. Useless argument.

Higer levels of play you wont make jans in castel age maybe on arena. And why is a higer level of play a good argument so 90% of people who play shouldnt be consider??

This is factually wrong. Just watch how Viper plays with Turks. Catle Age Jans all the way, even beat Knights in a straight engagement.

So the game should be played like Viper says? He made them cous they are best what turks have that doesnt make them UNIQUE or good

No. You said there was a large amount of discontent about the design.

Tell me. Is a few hundred a large amount of discontent? Maybe if weā€™re talking about 1000 total players that would be true. But aoe2 literally has over 2 million copies sold on steam alone. A few hundred is a very minor drop in the bucket.
