Also of note, most of the Maltese cards also boost pikes, which makes a valid composition. Comparing xbow/pike to pav/pike is a better comparison, but then ofc Malta gets Wig construction card for better wood production. That’s leaving aside that comparing imperial stats largely only matters in treaty and that Malta gets two of the upgrades cards in age 2 while Italy only has one there (ignoring swords for more Pav melee).

To get the maximum damage of 41, you need 6 Pavizers within a radius of 17 from each other. Your attempts to dispute anything discredit you. I am studying topics related to Malta and Italy.
10% armor is a critical difference. Because of which pavizers at age 3 will outshoot any other crossbowman. But they are absolutely useless against skirmishers. Like any archaic units, they will always trade 2 to 1 with modern ones.
Italy can produce wood in lombards.

No. I have an understanding because I have been playing DE since the release of KoM. And I have only played for Malta and Italy. So yes. My understanding of Malta and Italy is much better than yours. And I don’t need to win 23 matches in a row for Malta using the same rush as for the haud to understand how it works.
