Treaty Mode (Polls)

Background

Hello everyone. Despite the game centering around 1v1 balance and team rush games, treaty is still an important game mode that attracts and retains a good amount of players in this game, as you will always see a handful of treaty games readying up in the casual lobbies. There have been long-discussed balance issues and many forum posts that bring this up. However, they have not found prominence in these forums or discussion has been shut down by other players in the community who do not care about or play treaty mode.

Intent

With respect to the 1v1 and team rush game balance, this post attempts to shed light on treaty mode balancing issues, and to inspire conversation for balance solutions that do not interfere with 1v1 or rush games. There is even an option at the bottom to vote, “I don’t think there will be a way to balance treaty with the other modes” if you don’t like treaty mode!

Poll demographics

Ideally, players with experience in treaty mode should be the ones giving solid judgement and in-depth opinions on these topics. But everyone has a voice. However, I don’t recommended voting on something if you don’t know well enough about the specific poll to make a judgment. The first two polls try to gauge what kind of players are answering these polls.
